I’m a web and UX developer who enjoys living and working in the Washington, DC area. I’ve got serious experience creating applications using HTML, Javascript, CSS, Flash, and Flex on the front-end. I’m also proficient in PHP and SQL. I have done database and server administration in the past, and though I prefer to stick to web development, I feel very comfortable messing with httpd.conf. (I know, name-dropper, right?) Recently I’ve been experimenting with the Python language, Firefox add-ons, and iPhone development.
This blog will probably mostly focus on Flex programming or, I suppose, development in general. (source control, patterns, usability, etc.) However, I imagine there will also be random entries about music, movies, or books I’ve found entertaining recently. Perhaps a sprinkle of snowboarding-themed posts also. There may even be some rants. That’s what the web’s for, right?
Anyway, please enjoy the site, and come back often. I hope to actually stick with the blog this time.
